Were you a PAYE worker at the time? Has the firm you worked for been wound up or still in business?

Working under a new name now, but says it's out of his hands, they cant find any paper work for that year.

Who told you that you are not getting redundancy due to you not having paid tax in 2011?

Did you get a P60 from your employer for 2011 and keep it?

Thats the thing he never gave one, and never really thought of asking, the liguidator told me to write to the Dept of social protection and explain the situation.

Ok so you didn't get a P60, but how do you know that you didn't pay any tax? Who told you that?

And that you couldn't get redundancy as a result?

Do you know if you paid tax from 2012 to 2015?

The liguidator told me and the tax office, but the liguidator had sent in the paper work, to where ever it had to go

This is a bit confusing the liquidator should have sent the form to the Department of Social Protection who process it the application

I'm not seeing how not having paid tax in 2011 is relevant?

That's what i thaught i asked can they even pay from 2012-2015 and he said i have to contact Dept. of social protection and explain to them what happening

Your posts are really difficult to understand.

So is the situation as follows:
    1. You worked for this company from 2011 - 2015 and were then made redundant.
    2. Your employer could not pay you redundancy so the liquidator applied for you to the DSP
    3. DSP are refusing to pay redundancy for the entire time as they have no proof that you paid tax/were working in 2011?

Can you provide a bit more detail with your answer please?

employer could not pay it, i was told to get in touch with DSP by liquidator and they should look into 2011.

Did the liquidator send the forms into the DSP for you?

Yes, i think that's how he found out about 2011

Presumably DSP calculates redundancy per year of service? OP's claim includes the year 2011 but Dept is refusing to include this year in its calculations. Is Dept implying that it has no record on file that OP was employed in that company in 2011 because it has no record of tax paid? I would have thought that it was PRSI payments which are relevant to statutory redundancy but presumably this was not paid for 2011 either? OP I think you need to look for a meeting with a senior person in your local SW office or talk to Citizens Information

OP, contact Revenue to ask what records of pay and tax they have on file for you while you were working for that company.
