Had a crash, couple of repair questions

Bounced bike and myself off a bollard yesterday. Rear wheel went out going round a bend. Managed to stay up but was pointed the wrong way and had nowhere to go. Ploughed head on into the bollard. Nice dent in the front of the frame from the impact!

Walked away with a fair amount of bruising, but the bike didn't fair so well.

1st question is the fork: I hit the bollard head on at some speed, the bars were quite crooked after, and as I mentioned: decent dent on the front of the frame. I really don't think it's a good idea to use the fork again (Carbon). Is replacing a fork difficult? I do all of my own maintenance myself and I'm pretty technically competent, but is this something best left to a pro?

2nd question is the rear hub: I've Mavic Aksiums with bladed spokes, but one of the mounting points on the hub for the spoke snapped off, so I believe the hub is now useless. I can't seem to find hubs specific to bladed spokes. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

Also: Was wearing a helmet. Definitely smacked my head off the ground - glad I had it on! Will be replacing that too. :)

    Replace helmet and fork.
What bike is it and you will get a better reply's about diy replacing.

You will probably have to post a pic of the damage on the wheel to get a better reply BUT it may well be cheaper to get a new Askium rear and keep that for spares.

Thanks for reply. Bike is a Cube Peloton Race. 3 years old, but not huge mileage.

Tried attaching a pic, but keep getting a server error. Will try again in a bit

removing the fork is simple, undo the brake, undo the stem bolts, and top cap, and tap the top of the steerer tube downwards with either a soft hammer or cover it with a rag and give it a belt. The crown race will be left on the fork, a bit of gently prying with a screwdriver should see you getting that off reasonably intact. If you're lucky you won't send the bearings from the headset flying,

Is there a dent on the frame of the bike? Ive ridden dented alu MTBs before, but you've to work out what kind of stresses are going through that portion of the frame, a dent in the wrong place could cause the frame to fold like a coke can with someone standing on it. sides of the front triangle would hold up better than the tops and bottoms, but a bike shop would be able to advise you the best rather than us guessing from just looking at pictures

Attachments are broken at the moment, you'd be better off uploading to an external image hosting service, and link/embed here.
