I got one of these lifts for free- now I know why.

Anyway it seems that the brass nuts may be a bit worn to say the least.

The question is- it would appear that the nuts have to come off the top of the spindle for replacement- is this right- seems a bit tricky as it would seem the lifting trolley has to go off above first as well as the motor and pulley etc.

Or is there a way to get the shaft out of the bottom bearing enough to get the nut out that way?

Anybody know or know who to ask? I have tried to find the agent for them but the net says its air impact, but they say they are not the agent.

    thanks

    Richard.
