I'll try and keep this as short as possible without waffling.
I'm a guy in my mid twenties and I'd identify as bisexual.(attracted to guys more)
I'd have friends who'd be from various different countries and I have would never think I'm better than them due to my colour of my skin.
I'm Caucasian and the issue is I'm not sexually attracted to people who'd have darker\different skin tones than I am.
Sorry I know this is worded badly.
    Those it make me racist?

No it's your personal preference, your not racist and anyone that would tell you so for that has issues.

No, you're not racist if you're not attracted to people with darker skin, just like you're not ageist if you're not attracted to people older than you, or like you're not any other kind of "ist" if you're not attracted to people with dyed hair/blond hair/black hair, slim build/large build, different style of clothes/music/social life...... you just have a personal preference.

The list could go on! I'm not attracted to men who dress super-smartly. Turns me right off them ;) I could analyse why I'm not (maybe), but why bother?

No is the answer. Everyone is attracted to differant types of people. Racism is something completely differant.

Thanks for the advice. It's just something somebody said to me before and I was thinking about it

You're probably not racist, but the way you phrase things matters. Generally, when someone says they are not attracted to a particular race it comes across badly. Even if you say "I'm not attracted to darker people" its going to sound like "I don't like black guys". Really there is no need to say to anyone what your type isn't. You can just say what it is, for example "I like the boy next door type, like [insert celebrity name here]", or when asked why you rejected a certain person "He wasn't my type which is more boy next door". I wouldn't be too open about not liking dark sin to anyone except maybe your closest confidante.

Just to confer I never said to anybody I don't like darker skin people/etc.
The conversation was more of a generally things of what is racism.

    Thanks again for the advice.

i would think that you are.
Most people would find individuals attractive based on various criteria including looks. If you are excluding people a whole group of people based on their race then i would argue, based on any generally acceptable meaning of the word, that you are racist.

100% disagree, not being attracted to women does not make me homophobic etc. If your open to the idea of being attracted to anyone but you just haven't found anyone attractive from a certain race/religion /ethnicity then that's okay, you can't force who your attracted to
