Hi hoping someone can help as am totally stuck.

I've put together a powerpoint presentation in which there are animation and audio in most the slides and I've set it up so that each slides automatically transitions into the next.

I need to upload it to youtube so as far as I understand it, I've first to convert it to a video file, namely a wmv file. This is the bit where I'm not having any joy as when I click on the "Export to video" button, it messes up all my animation and sound sequences. So then I clicked on "Record slide show" and deselecting the "with narrations..etc" option and where I have to click to launch into the next slide but then this hangs at the stage where I go to compress it.

I'm wondering does any powerpoint expert reading this have a quick fix or can see what I'm doing wrong? If so your advice would be very appreciated!

    Thank you

Google "Turn-your-presentation-into-a-video" and the first or second link with bring you to a Microsoft office site that explains what you need to do. Not sure if you need Office 2010 or above.

Thanks Schaffer I did Google it and followed the directions given in the first search result but I couldn't get beyond the step to "Record slide show".

Am currently attempting to upload it to a hosting site called authorstream which was what the third search result recommended so am waiting to see if that works.
