Floor area measurement

Hi we just got planning permission to build a small house, 1000 sq ft. When building are the internal walls and external walls included in this measurement. Also when people got fitted wardrobes presses etc in bedrooms, how much space did you allow for these. Thanks so much, novice here.

Internal wall are counted or ignored to put it a better way.
The floor area is the area of the house within the external walls.

Wardrobes are typically 600mm approx deep and as long as you need/want/can afford.

You ignore that any walls, stair core etc are there and just measure the inside of the external walls.
