Hi guys just wondering what the difference between a 40sq mtr extension and a 40sq mtr seperate build in relation to planning? How much of the extension has to be connected to the existing building.
    Thanks

It has to be connected in some shape or form. That could've by a small corridor for instance but this corridor is also counted towards the 40Sq. M. You also have other consideration with the exempted regs such as height and openings along the boundary side etc
