    Hi everyone,

    Thanks in advance for reading.

Ive been asked by a family member to fix a laptop but i seem to be having an issue and cant seem to find the answer online.

First issue was about 4weeks back when on booting is would state that RTC battery was low and to set date and time. I stopped this accruing from a forum that told me to remove battery hold power button for 15s. Put together, enter bios and reset factory settings. This seemed to work.

Yesterday it starting again but the F2 function to enter bios is not working. It either hangs on "RTX battery is low" or turns off. Im waiting on a usb keyboard from a friend to try see if that input will work. I have tried actually replacing the CR2032 battery in the back but that seemed to do nothing.

Any ideas or tips would be really appreciated.

    Cheers
