Could have been in for maintenance. Back in 2007 I saw a Garda heli being assembled in Oxford airfield.

Goes over for servicing every now and again. Remember it's a Garda owned heli and not an Aer Corp one.

Do the aer Corp do any sort of maintainance on it or is it all done privately?

When we were on the tour of baldonnel one of the Garda helos was in the hanger shared with the museum getting some work done. Never took any notice of who was actually working on it though.

Not sure what level of maintenance the Aer Corp provide and at what point they go to the UK.
