I generally get on well in maths but I just can't grasp probability and statistics. My textbook is very wordy with few examples. Could anyone recommend any websites or books to help? I'm getting quite anxious as the mocks approach.

If you can't grasp it at all then 'maths is fun' is a nice easy refresher. It's easy on the eye and the examples are there to serve the concept (rather than assume you understand the concept and want to do 'harder' problems).

Thanks for the replies. I will try both and hopefully will understand it a bit better!

Maybe it's the way you are approaching the problems too. If you want you could throw up a problem here and see how folks would break it down before attacking it.
It might be good to sketch out the scenario (or an easier one!) and see if you can spot a trend.
