    Decent 2 day event to start the season, all live on ITV4 with bits and bobs on Setanta. Just started.
    Draw to follow.

    Format Best of 19 first two rounds, best of 21 in semis and final.

    Bracket.

    MVG (1) v Bunting.
    Smith (8) v RVB.
    Taylor (4)v Klaasen.
    Wright (5) v White.

    Anderson (2) v VvdV.
    Thornton (7) v Chisnall.
    Lewis (3) v K Huybrechts.
    Wade (6) v Jenkins.


    The new era of Taylor(4) and MVG(1) being in the same half being in the same half of the draw could be fun.

    Enjoyable enough fare so far - played to a conclusion tonight. Draw got a bit lobby with Anderson and Lewis going out early.


    MVG (1) v Taylor (4)
    Wade (6) v Chisnall (10).

    Chizzy doing enuf to beat wade, mvgs last game vs Smith ,won first 8 legs,Russ said the first 5 legs were the best he's ever called,some standard and blew bullyboy away

    He is Mister Consistent, rarely if ever gets beaten by anyone ranked 9-32 in the L32/L16 rounds, and conversely never beats any of the Top 4 in the quarter final. Makes him just about immovable from his 6/7 ranking.

    Oh Phil Phil Phil what did you do.

    He looks a lot more comfortable though bar that shocker, don't think he goes this year without winning a major.

    Wades scoring and consistency is poor, I think he will be the next big name to start slipping down the rankings with the way the game is going.
