Should be a fine machine. The i5 version was on here recently.

Should be a fine machine. The i5 version was on here recently.

It had 2.2ghz processor afaik, plus this one is 6g ram and 750g hard drive. But a nice price all the same

great price for an i7 Processor, €499
But can someone let me know if it's any good

Entirely depends on what you want to use it for.

It's twin core 4th gen chip, not even quad core, benchmarks at the higher end of mid range processors.

If it's surfing, some casual gaming and MS office stuff it's grand. Not great for things like video processing, decent gaming etc.

Wouldn't call it a bargain alert, the i7 is a ULV dual core, and 500GB hard drive, 720p screen and 6Gb ram is very average.

Perfectly fine machine but price is about right for it.
