Barters Hill still in the market for The novice race at Cheltenham even though he's going to Doncaster.

He's 2/1 with Bet 365, with them having Shantou Village at 3/1.

With a few others Shantou Village is 5/2, but Barters Hill is SP. So what is the situation there with Rule 4 when he pulls out, will there be any? Or are they priced up as if he's not running.

I know with the Rule 4 allowance, backing S' Village now with Bet 365 would mean you're only getting 1.95/1.

I'd be happy if anyone can answer me on that question but if anyone knows how Best Odds Guaranteed works when you've backed prior to a rule 4 then that would be handy to know as well.

Up For Review v Barters Hill some race. What will happen if Up For Review wins handy along with Shaneshill & Djakadam??

Stuck Bonne Question up last week when it finished 5th at Market Rasen, out again tomorrow in the first at Uttoxeter, unfortunately the price is nothing like last week, best is currently 4/1. Hopefully it can do the business.

Mug double in the two last races at Uttoxeter.

Winston Churchill (4/1) and Pret A Thou (5/2) - The first is a real mud machine and should relish the conditions tomorrow. The second is getting on a bit, but is nicely down in class against a few mediocre looking types, can't be having the favourite who only won narrowly last time out and has been hiked in the ratings. €1 to return €16.50.

Think Ptit Zig has a decent chance in the Cleeve Hurdle tomorrow, getting 8lb from Thistlecrack & Camping Ground.

    Doncaster 1.30
    Just Cameron @ 10/1

Worth another go, was dissapointing on return at sandown but may have needed it and possibly wasn't his type of track, also the ground was bottomless, regular tongue tie was off and is back today so I am really expecting a big show, course and ground should suit.

    Cheltenham on
a few chase fences will be taken out where false ground
all hurdles on fresh ground a bit of hurdle rail may require moving
    heavy ground

Was really looking forward to racing today but now with the rain it's gonna be a mudbath. No fun watching that.

Wiliam Hill seem to have lost the plot a bit. Many Clouds 5/2 w/o Djakadam and Smad Place, and O Faoileains Boy 11/4 with out the top 3 in the Market.

Whenever I see Byrnes/Russell combination , I take a look . Whenever I see Byrnes/Russell combination and its the only Byrnes runner of the day , I look harder . 3.05 Fairyhouse , this runner @20/1 is just too big to ignore . Could be anything??

I used the mobile site, slide across from "racecard" tab to "betting without" and it gives 3/4 options, and it's the last one on each (3rd option for Many Clouds, 4th for OFB)

Not keen to take on Djakadam but I don't think we've seen the best of O'Faolains Boy and he was really impressive beating 150 rated Sausalito Sunrise last time and only a handful of starts ago in the RSA when he won despite never travelling on quick ground. An extended 3m 1f on this ground at a stiff track should be ideal and I think he'll have the measure of Smad Place who's season was based around the Hennessey and Many Clouds who has a bigger target ahead.

In the following race Champagne West looks too short off top weight on what he's done and Irish Cavalier won't handle this ground so Salubrious has a big chance. Interestingly Nicholls said he didn't finish tired at all last weekend and has been working well in blinkers sharpening him up. He will love this ground and stays further which may play to his favour.

Also worth backing them in an each way double with Bet365 going 1/4 odds and best priced 10/1 on both. Guaranteed place value.

As falls go it was harmless enough though. And he hadn't had a hard race.

All to play for in March anyway, that's for sure. Wide open race, no?

To make a mistake like that under no pressure at all doesn't look good.

I guess he didn't run far & the opposition didn't beat him (a fence did) so nothing has changed. But as F going into the festival is not good.
