Any ideas on how this works please.

Wife will be entitled to approx. € 210 contributory pension this year.
She owns a house jointly (family home) with her husband and she also owns a house entirely in her own name. She has no income from that or anywhere else.
Her husband is about 62 y/o and he took early retirement from his job and receives approx. €13k gross pension p/a. He worked for 35/40 years before retirement. He has no other income. They jointly have savings of approx. €40k.
The question is would he be entitled to an increase for qualified adult and if so how much.
I read the DSP web site but find it confusing.
    Thanks.

Is the €210 pension she is claiming a SW pension? If so then no, he wouldn't get SW pension for her aswell.
    Its one or the other.
If its not a SW pension but an occupational pension or private pension then, no, between the occupational pension and the property she owns then she wouldn't qualify for anything.

The € 210 is the contributory state old age pension. She will be 66 years old.

    Thanks for replies.
