yes you measure how many feet long your bus is and that is what you earn per hour. so if your bus is 32ft long, you are on €32 per hour

Hi. Bog standard bus drivers wages aren't anything to sing and dance about. Especially with many small companies, doing school runs, private hires etc.

You could be looking at a rate of about €10.00 per hour and if you're paid just on an hourly basis, it won't add up to much.

Even larger companies don't pay great money, and there are many people happy to do the work for little money, thus keeping rates down.

Having said that, for an employer, it's a costly business, especially with insurance costs, repairs, etc.

CIE/ Dublin Bus/ Bus Eireann would be amongst the best payers as they are heavily unionised, unlike most small private companies.

Do you have something particular in mind?
