Work started paying me on a different day

    Hi,

    I had to go shopping for a birthday present for my husband last week and my card was declined on pay day. Checked my online banking and my wages hadn't gone in. I rang my boss who said "could be in tomorrow what do you want me to do about it?". I asked could he please check with the bank as I would need money for the weekend. I got a text later that day after leaving without purchasing my husbands present stating that I should get paid the following day.

    This week again I have not been paid as usual on a Thursday. I have just spoke to my boss who has said "its just a day". I tried to explain that rent is due and I have direct debits and nobody notified me of this change. He admitted he didn't know about it either. So i simply requested if it could be changed back to a Thursday as it has been that way for 2 years. He laughed said I was being ridiculous as only a day and said "Im not sure if i can get to bank in the next few weeks"!!!!

    Any advice welcome
