Hello We want to do Majorca this summer. Looking for a self catering option that sleeps at least 5, very near or next to a beach and has a pool. Must also be walking distance from local town/village. Looking at all the usual web sites for places to rent (2 weeks) but nothing beats a recommendation. We really like the idea…

Hello

We want to do Majorca this summer. Looking for a self catering option that sleeps at least 5, very near or next to a beach and has a pool. Must also be walking distance from local town/village.

Looking at all the usual web sites for places to rent (2 weeks) but nothing beats a recommendation. We really like the idea of going to Port De Soller (highly recommended from friends) but open to ideas. The key thing is finding the right place to stay.

Cala Dor is fantastic for kids. 4 or 5 different cove beaches and all less than 5 kms from town centre. I have been there a few times with the kids and going back again this year. Would highly recommend it.
