Replace Bonded Retainer

    Hi all

Wondering if anyone could advise on this.

I've had a permanent retainer on my top four teeth for the last 10 years or so since I had braces.

It never bothered me but part of it under one tooth seems slightly loose like I can feel air (and probably food I guess) must be getting in and stuck under it.. afraid it will decay my tooth.

Going to go to the dentist next week for a cleaning and I presume I'll have to go to an orthodontist to look at this?

Is it likely to be very expensive to get this fixed or replaced? Broke student!!

    Thanks in advance.

Let your Dentist take a look. Simple enough to do if you have the right materials , should not be that expensive. He/she may do it if they are comfortable doing it.
