Are there any decent lossless HDMI transmitters that will work over 5m and through 2 thin plasterboard walls?

Connecting a PC to my LCD TV.

    Nothing is lossless.

Not sure what you mean by HDMI transmitters. HDMI is a lead based system.

The link is to a US site.

While hdmi leads are the same, the transmission standards in the USA and Europe are different, so if buying a transmitter, you might need to check it transmits the European Data.

If you are trying to transmit from a pc to a tv, why not stream the mpeg stream over wifi and use a raspberry pi to decode and feed the hdmi?
that way its' ~10 Mbps instead of 3Gbps of data

Would there be any latency issues doing that? I want to use the setup for gaming.

At the moment I'm connecting an active HDMI cable which sits along the floor and I have to wrap it up when I'm done. I was considering putting it through the attic but would rather avoid drilling holes in my ceiling where possible.

I spotted a few devices on Amazon that are highly-rated such as http://www.amazon.co.uk/Provision-Wireless-Including-Receiver-Transmitter/dp/B00A22MG62/

but they all seem to mention a momentary lag which would be fine for watching movies but will be detrimental for the gaming aspect so I guess I'm stuck with routing my 15m Neet HDMI cable through the attic. Joy!

You could run a cat6 cable and use a cat6 to hdmi converter that would allow a magic eye also to be added to control the box. You will need a hdmi splitter device also to split the hdmi signal.

Could I run this over a Powerline adapter?

I currently have 500MB powerline adapters for my home network. I don't think they'd have sufficient bandwidth for HDMI though.

If I'm running cables I'd have to put them through the attic as well, so in that case I'd just use the 15m HDMI one I currently have.

No powerlines won't transmit hdmi and are prone to interference avoid like rhe plague

Tell me more. I've used US equipment with European TVs via HDMI with no problems.
