I'm not sure what forum to post this in, but I'll try here.

Over the summer the School put down new tarmac in the play area, we have since been fundraising as we (parents association) and school want to paint games, hopscotch etc on the tarmac.

We now have funds raised and want to get this work done but we are having trouble sourcing someone to paint the games/lines on the playground.

I have contacted one supplier and he will call to us at some stage when he's passing.

I was also in contact with with Waterford Sports Partnership and they supply stencils and we have to paint the tarmac ourselves, has anyone down ths before and is it difficult to do,

Or does anyone know of contacts to paint the tarmac, we are based in Co Waterford,

    Thanks

If your principal is a member of the IPPN, ask if they(the principal) would put a query out on the IPPN network. Doing the proper paint is very much worth it.

Great, thanks for that, I'll say it to her tomorrow.

Or ask her or some of the teachers in the school to post it on forum.educationposts.ie
She'll have an answer in no time.

Our school did it, in fact the parents association actually painted the yards. Used ordinary emulsion. They redo it every two years. Fantastic for kids. They love it. The parents association also get great satisfaction from it. (They told me, that's how I know)

Lots of bright coloured game areas, snakes and ladders, number ladders, alphabet lines, houses for the little ones to play inside.
