Gp's refusing to write confirming letter

I am on invalidity pension since 2014 due to my physical health getting worse.
I can apply for my CWPS pension but because I am in my late 40s I can't get pension but something called illness benefit from my construction workers pension scheme which I paid into over the years.
to get that, I need my GP to write me letter that I won't be able to work in the construction sector, but she is refusing to say it in writing saying that my condition can get better (but it is actually getting worse every year).

it seems to the doctors won't put pen to paper and all time passing the book and refusing to say it, even though I showed them official letter I am retired.

have anyone had similar problem and got it sorted?
    how did you solve it?

It is just your dr? Can you change GP? Ask around locally who might be more helpful.

It sounds like your Doctor is on a power trip. I have dealt with many ignorant Doctors over the years. Best thing to do is find a Doctor that is willing to work with you.

    thanks Simon

I sorted it out, had to argue my case and she eventually accepted it and wrote the letter. wasn't easy tough.
