Is the coursera R course recommended?

Just as an FYI for anyone using R. Microsoft have made a bid for the scientific community by getting involved with R.

And their Visual Studio 2015 (community edition is free) appears to have stolen most of the good stuff from R Studio too. download here - https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/features/rtvs-vs.aspx

Really interesting to see where this goes. R with full .Net capabilities (C# / F# in particular) could be very powerful in production vs the Python numpy/pandas route.

Anyone know where I could get some Grinds in R, I started a course on data analytics and I need some help to get my head around the R coding part of the course. Any advice greatly appreciated

They do that, and they do it suprisingly well. R is on my current course, looking forward to trying this.
