Who services air con in Cork?

    can ye recommend anyone who would service the air con in my Cork that is reasonably priced.

    Not sure if it is working at all or just working very poorly. Have changed the pollen filter so its not that. Takes all day to clear the window with air con and fan on full belt.

    Is your air con cold? If not it might need a refill, I got mine done by Fast Fit in Togher last May I think and it's been perfect ever since. €60 I think.

    yes changed it last week and as it happens old one wasn't that dirty

    Sorry, I didn't see that in your OP.

    Any mech in Cork can take a look, try Fastfit.
    Your problem isn't that it's not cold. The problem is that the fans are bad yeah?

    If the fans are not working right it may just be the resistor or something blocking.

    Are you recirculating air inside car?

    What car is this?
    2007 Audi A4. the fans could be blowing out loads of air but just not clearing the windscreen. TBH I don't know how cold the air con goes as I wouldn't have it on at that position this time of the year? it used to clear the window very fast before around 22/23 on the climate control.

    no never have that button on

    Hi,

    Check if any air is actually coming out of the windscreen demister vent. Mine did the same recently, wouldn't clear the windscreen for ages. It turned out the motor that opens & closes the vent at the window had failed & the vent was stuck closed. Same as below.

    Are Fast Fit any good at doing the aircon service? I need to get mine re-gassed and decontaminated, it's not cold anymore and the smell from it isn't great
