Hi Guys,

Does anyone know what the test routes are for the temporary test centre in Dun Laoghaire?
Or has anyone done their test there recently?

I have my test there next month!

Lett and left onto Johnston rd . Left into granite field.
Reverse round corner at green. .
Left again and right . Straight to Granville rd
Right on Granville rd and right at lights onto Johnston rd.
Down pottery rd etc
That will get u started

Hi, just reaching out here to anyone who may have done their test in Dun Laoghaire now that this centre has been open for a while.

I'm doing my test there this week so would appreciate if anyone can advise on routes or any tips on the centre in general.

Hi,

These are 2 routes I got from my instructor. They are the old test routes and are apparently very similar to the routes they're using now. They begin at the lidl in the Rochestown business park though and not at the hotel.
As these are from 9 years ago some of the traffic lights etc. aren't there any more but they should be of some help!

Route 2 , 30 mins, 11 KM
1. Left out of business park
2. At 2nd set of traffic lights turn rights (baker corner pub)
3. At roundabout take 1st exit
4. At T junction turn left
5. At roundabout take 3rd exit (3 o clock)
6. At T junction turn right (traffic lights)
7. At traffic lights turn left
8. Pass pedestrian lights
9. Pass traffic lights (T.G.I. Fridays)
10. Take 2nd turn right
11. Do T/A
12. At T junction turn right
13. Take next turn left (just before pedestrian lights)
14. Take next turn left
15. Use 1 or 2nd corner for REV
16. After reverse turn tight
17. Do H/S
18. At T junction turn right
19. At T junction turn left pass pedestrian lights
20. At traffic lights turn left (onto dual carriageway)
21. At 2nd set of traffic lights turn left( church on corner)
22. At 2nd set of traffic lights turn right
23. At traffic lights turn right (Y junction)
24. Turn right into test centre
 
Route 1, 30 min, 11 KM

14. At mini roundabout take 2nd exit (12 o clock)
15. Take next turn left (just before ramp)
16. Do T/A
17. At T junction turn right
18. At mini roundabout take 1st exit (12 o clock)
19. Take next turn left
20. Option for reverse on left
21. At t junction turn right
22. At T junction turn left
23. At roundabout take 3rd exit (3 o clock)
24. At roundabout take 1st exit
25. At T junction turn left
26. At traffic lights turn right
27. At traffic lights turn right
28. Turn left into test centre
