niggling complaint

I've noticed that after any training session where I will have extended myself or pushed a little deeper that I come down with an ailment that knocks the stuffing out of me for at least a week.

looking back over some historical sessions in the past 2 years, i've had to take it easy or come off the bike completely because of some infection or other in the week after a hard training ride or race. There would be no outwardly signs of being sick but the numbers don't lie, nor does the feeling of fatigue.

i've got checked out previously and had varying reports back as to what it could be. Lungs are generally always fine in the breath tests although they are sore. one doctor said it was possibly exercise induced asthma, another saying sinusitis, it's hard to put their finger on it.

However, I can't get a decent block of training in without this so it's frustrating.

I will go back to the doctor again obviously - any takers on alternative stories or non medical advice ?

are there any good cycling specific medical practitioners out there !?

MOD VOICE: Unfortunately I can't see any advice or recommendations that will not come about as medical advice. Thread closed.
