Hi, just abit confused about this, if someone could help.

A pal of mine had an enforsement on his first provisional license going back to 1999/2000 when a silly yound lad :o

He let the licence lapse and hasn't driven since then.

He's going applying for his theory test soon as he's decided to get back driving.

Does he need to do anything re the old licence or are those endorcements long gone / dead as it's >15 years since then. thanks

Get him to call the NDLS to find out if there is a record of him on file along with his previous permit.

If i was him i would avoid any issues by just sitting getting the application form signed and stamped by the Guards to declare the previous permit lost or if he has the permit bring it with him while making the application.

Just so you know endorsements were removed from licences in 2013, they do not get printed on the new card style licence.
