hello

my current laptop is on its way out so looking for advise on what laptop's are best value at the moment.

i am looking for something that will last 3-5 years
will be used for work and home use
and can handle multiple programs at once

currently have a hp pavilion g6 (which i have had from the last 5 years)

budget wise i could go up to 1000, but ideally would like to spend around 700/800
