Medical Card Review

I have received one of the medical card review forms to fill out. As regards income, I only have my weekly €188 SW payment. However I have savings in excess of the €36,000 threshold as a single person. Where do I stand with this? I am on medication which I would not be able to sustain long term without the medical card.
