Finding the right workplace

I've worked in customer service in one way or another all my life, although I liked the banter with people, customers in general are exhausting! The happiest I've been in a job is in a stockroom without having to face customers, due to the nature of the contract it didn't last. I would love to get into this type of area again, but it all seems to need the same type of thing when I search, own transport, forklift training and being able to lift x amount of weight. It was a jewellery stockroom last time! Anyway my question is, am I hoping for too much, is that kinda thing not available anymore? And if so, how do you get beyond the hope for the perfect job and deal with what you can have? It's kinda getting me down! Thanks for reading this rambling!

I worked before in city centre hospitals in their filing room in the basement. I'd be up and down from the different departments to the basement either pulling charts or filing them back. There were a few of us doing the job so there was a nice bit of banter but only glancing interaction with the public. You might be able to find something similar?
