    Hi Folks

For those interested, Dunnes in Dungarvan,Co. Waterford now stock the hot & spicy Quorn vegan burgers.

I tried them today, liked them a lot. Nice, spicy coating, with a 'chicken' type filling. I cooked a few and ate one cold tonight, tasted even better.

I don't eat a lot of processed food, but love the idea of a vegan burger as a treat. :)

I tried these a couple of nights ago, I thought they were really nice too. Hopefully they keep them in stock.

I can't wait to get my hands on some of these to try. My local Dunnes is selling out pretty quick which, bad as I have none, but good as they see the demand and should keep them plenty stocked in the future.

I wonder though, if anyone has tried both, how does the texture compare to 'original' quorn? Also, does anyone know if Dunnes are stocking the vegan quorn pieces too along with the burgers cause that would be awesome :)

Honestly, I don't find any difference between the non-vegan and vegan burgers.
Our local Dunnes have expanded their Quorn range, fingers crossed, Quorn will now expand their vegan products.
If I see the vegan quorn pieces, I will let you know. :)

I picked up the vegan pieces the other day and made fajitas. Taste same as they always did if memories serve me right.

Thanks for the info guys :)

As an update for Dublin folk, I've done a quick search today and again came up with nothing. So far I've checked Dunnes at The Beacon (No pieces, only the vegan burgers marked, though they were out of stock), Talbot Street (Neither stocked yet), George's Street (Neither stocked yet) and Stephen's Green (Neither stocked yet).... They have to be somewhere, right?!

Though a shopping day trip to Dungarvan is really starting to seem worth the cost!

They have them in Dunnes Cornelscourt & Dunnes Charlestown.

My personal quest is over, I managed to find some in the Ilac Centre today! Plus there was a deal on at 2 packets of either/both for €4, so happy days :)

Gotta agree, the burgers are really good with a nice little spicy 'kick' to them. The pieces are good too, tasting basically the same but they seem to be less textured with, slightly less of a bite to them, but still really good nonetheless. Either way, I'm happy to have them in the freezer for when the occasional cooking laziness kicks in...

I am just back from Dunnes in Charlestown this evening and they had these burgers on special (2 boxes for €4.00)

So if anyone wants to give them a go, now is the time.

These new quorn vegan burgers are very tasty, hopefully they expand the vegan range.

I picked up the Quorn burgers and pieces in Dunnes Cornelscourt (Co. Dublin). I was impressed with the burgers. The pieces seemed to break apart as I cooked them in a sauce. The packet says to cook them in a sauce for 20 minutes, but I gave up after 10 minutes - I didn't want mush!

How did you guys cook the pieces?

Also - I was really glad to finally be able to buy a vegan Quorn product :D
