No wont affect speed unless you have loads of people freeloading off your BB :)

You'll just have to reconnect all devices again.

Garda surveilance van is a good name for your network :)

Not at all. Not sure why you'd think that either.

You'll have enter the password into your phone or laptop again.

You can change your password, too. It will help prevent hackers piggybacking on your WiFi.

Sure wasn't there some joker from VM telling somebody on here that they needed to upgrade to Windows 10 in order to use the faster speed!!!

Probably the same joker who told the OP not to change the router name.

My computer has something called a T100 chip, I can reach tp to 100ng of speed. Many computers now a days have T1000 so can reach up (theoretical) 1000mbs

I'm guessing this is a reference to the type of Network card in your machine and not an early Terminator model ;).

If it's 100Base-T, then you can only get up a maximum of 100Mbps through the cable.

If you had a newer machine, with a 1000Base-T, then you could get the full whack of speed up to a maximum of 1000Mbps.

No, he was a technician. A glorified laborer.
