    Hi there,

Have no clue about cars! Looking at one of these as a second car, price range 2000.

Have seen these on the websites for between 1600-2200 and am wondering if they are a good car? Tried to google but couldn't find anything for specific year.

    TIA :)

They really aren't great, definitely one of the worst cars in that segment.

They were iffy around electrics when new so I cannot imagine they have improved with age. The facelifted model from about 2005 was much improved.

2k would nearly get you into a 2002 new shape Toyota Corolla which is a vastly superior car to the 307.

Don't really see th appeal of the older ones, engines underpowered, body heavy, iffy build.
They are well specced, but at that price level there are more important factors.

    Corolla really.
