I started last week. I signed off online from the day I started.

I thought I'm done with social welfare. Why did I miss a phone call from them but they left no voice message.

I have nothing more to do with them. Why the phone call.

Did anyone ever get a phone call after signing off?

I got an appointment for a review after signing off. I don't think word filters between departments sometimes. I wouldn't worry about the phone call, they'll call back if it's important.

I don't think the online sign off works.

I did it, forgot about them, then a couple of months later got a letter telling me I had to go to some appointment or other. I wrote to them old school style, posted the letter, forgot about them.

Several months passed, I got another letter, this time to remind me that my yearly sign on was coming up. I wrote to them again.

One year later, another reminder about the yearly sign on. Another letter from me.......that's the last I heard.

You can't get through on the phone and I wasn't gonna take a day off to queue up and tell them I was signing off. Madly inefficient.

    Hi,

Mainly wondering if an Irish citizen is entitled to UK benefits when they move in a UK residence??

Reason for asking is that I am planning on completing my education in the UK, and I know not will take some time to receive a job that I will need something to help me

    Any advice will be great
