Has anyone ever heard of sleep paralysis.
I wake up but cant move , sometimes hallucinate etc . On occasion I feel my jaw move like a hundred miles an hour , my wife felt it a few times against her back . She had to shake me a few times before to wake me as she thought I stopped breathing . I had a sleep study a few weeks ago but it was not a full one . It was basically for sleep apnoea. Waiting on results . But I don't think it is . I do wake up feeling groggy no matter wether I sleep 4 or 10 hours I wake up feeling like crap . Sometimes I wake up with headaches . I do get migraines . In diagnosed with hypertension I'm 33 not considered over weight . Also could it also be a form of nocturnal seizures. Oh and sometimes I feels as if my arm is stiff and jerking . But anyway I'm seeing the neurologist again in a few weeks for results of this test and then might have to go for a full study . One more thing . I also had a ecg done and it was different than my last one . The one before was perfectly normal . One of my uncles had epilepsy. Just want some thoughts on it .

Op, nobody here can offer you a reliable diagnosis. You need to wait for the results of your investigations and discuss things with the neurologist. Best wishes.
