    Cheers lads..
Yeah I suppose cinematic stuff is unlikely to be great...I watched American flyers aswell and thought it was piss poor too.
I saw the pantani accidental death of a cyclist...that was really good so stuff like that, I suppose either good documentary type or based on true stories is what I'm after.
Couldn't believe how poor the program was... There was potential there for a great film.. The acting was worse than fair city.
    Marty.

Imo its just bland and a bit like a collection of random scenes stuck together rinstead of trying to produce something coherent where characters are developed . Its still watchable tho.

It really needed a cameo turn ("hoo-ha") of a younger Al pacino as the angriest man in the world Paul kimmage :)

It's like one of the Rapha continental films, except for Alex Singer.

Worth a look. Some of Ireland's contingent can be spotted faffing about in the background.

You can buy it on DVD, just google it, it's a French animated movie, brilliant imo.

It was on really late one night a few months back, I remember posting about it at the time, and it's aged badly. My young mind obviously took no notice of all the non BMXing bits and the criminal underworld subplot. It wasn't anywhere near as good as I remembered.

That was the literal meaning of the French title, no?

Not completely obvious that it's the same film as Belleville Rendez-vous.

Told ya, I think it was on of those movies that captured the period of the time, but is crap outside of it. Or else it's only good if you're a kid.

Or if you're nostalgic for Nicole Kidman's original nose.

BMX Bandits for nostalgia but my memory told me there was far more cycling in it. First cinema experience and followed by so many injuries the following weeks. Quite possibly more cycling in ET than BMX Bandits.

Ride the Divide, a good documentary about the race of the same name. It follows a bunch of participants in the race one year. I've watched it a few times now.

The Flying Scotsman is well worth watching I think.
