Just a heads up that the surface on the descent from howth down to sutton just before the cemetary is covered in mud and small stones. Theres a building site just before the cemetary and they dont seem to cleaning the road after hailing out trailers of muck.

Also forgot the street lights were gone for a good stretch just down from the Summit past the car park where the surface is good fast and downhill and its very hard to see anything that could be in the road

That section gave me the heebeejeebies last week on descending. I meant to put a post up when I got back and forgot. So thanks for the heads up to others

I take it a lot slower going down there now, too many close calls with cars pulling in or out of the parking bays along there.

Usually always head down by St. Fintan's road and around to the road past the Martello tower, adds a little extra distance too....
