This years Rás, hosted by Dunleer AC, takes place in the wonderful grounds of Oldbridge house at the Battle of the Boyne site, just outside Drogheda.

There is a full programme of juvenile races (uneven ages) from U9's to U17's, beginning at 12pm. As well as this we have two senior races:

    Women, 3,000m starting at 13:30pm
    Men, 6,000m, starting at 14:00pm

All races are only €5, with no entry fee at the gate.

Online entry for all races is available this year: https://events.athleticsireland.ie/ps/event/RsnahEireann2016

PConn - this looks like a great race every year and have been meaning to try and get up to it for the last couple of years. I won’t make it again this year but hope to get a team to it next year. Best of luck with it!

Thanks Sacksian, yes we would love to get some more clubs up from Dublin to run. Our juvenile races are always packed out and would love to see the senior races the same!

No, it is an open race and anyone can run. All standards catered for.

This race is suitable for all standards, we will have a very good elite field at the front but we also have some fit4life clubs taking part so there is something for everyone!
