    Hi,

I've had Eircom engineers out to the house a couple of times and they have told me that I should be able to get efibre but when I ring I'm told it's not.

I live 1.9KM drive from cabinet TYC1_032 and I have been told in the past that my phoneline is on the Tycor exchange, so should I not be able to avail of this.  I was in the Eircom shop in Waterford too and they thought I should be able to get much better speeds than I have.

Can you look into it for me please.

    Thanks,
    John

If your connected to the exchange you won't be able to get fibre unless your within 1.5Km of it as far as I can remember. The fibre cabs won't matter if your line is fed to the exchange.
