For a 2003 Renault Clio, 1.2L with 130,000 miles. New break pads and clutch, NCT for the year. Had a friend look at it who knows about cars and says it looks good. Been offered a 3 month warranty. Around what price would you expect to pay? Thanks

It is hard to say without seeing it, but I guess the price is somewhere between €700 and €1,700. With a car like this one it is all about its condition. And I would always spend a little extra to get a well kept car.

And on a 13 year old car I would not put too much value on a 3 month warranty from a dealer. It will most likely cover the bare minimum and most of the extra cost over a private sale will be the dealer's margin.
