Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What is the best way to earth a turntable?

I've a standard wire going from the back of the turntable to the amp, but depending on the day or how close I stand to the amp, I get a slight hum? sometimes none.

What is the best way to fix this?

    Cheers,

    G

There's a dedicated earth terminal on your amp, beside the phono sockets. If you're using that and still getting a hum the earth issue could be that your amp isn't actually earthed at all or you have a mains earth issue.
