Number of Priests in Ireland

I'm sure somebody here might be able to answer this, How can I find out how many catholic priests were placed in parishes in Ireland during say 1982? Anyone have this number or even a ball park figure, doesn't have to be specifically 1982. Anytime from say 1960 to 1985 is fine.
