Anyone any experience of these. Looking at new cars and these seem to be the best value of the VW group and the new models look fairly sharp too.

Had a hatch FR for a year and nearly 60k and its hard to fault. One dud wheel bearing which was there since day dot and fixed in an hour, otherwise it was totally faultless. Did mid-50s to a tank consistently (long commute) too.

One thing with them is they look great value but that can be taken away when resale is taken into account as its lower than other similar VAG cars.
