Hi, just wondering if anyone has had their wedding reception in Fallon and Byrne?? If so are they open to negotiation on the price?
Are venues in general open to negotiation?
    Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

If I remember correctly and it's been posted here a few times. Fallon & Byrne are not open to negotiations, they have strict times (out by 1/1:30am) but the food, wine and service is superb.

In my experience, none of the venues were open to negotiations especially if you're looking to get married in the months of May, June, July and August + a Friday/Saturday

Rather than getting a reduction in price see if you can get them to throw in add-ons for free.

Was actually in F&B today for their wedding fair. I don't think they're particularly negotiable but they do the room hire for free if you're getting married Mon-Weds. Thursday is cheaper than Friday- Sunday. January is also cheaper.

Yeah doubt that there's much room for negotiation with them but they're very competitively priced and food is guaranteed to be top notch.

We're booked in for our wedding with them in October - have been told that bar closes at 1:30, music off by 2 and everyone out by 2:30.

Actually thinking about killing the music earlier than that and renting a room/area somewhere else in town for those who want to continue the party. Anyone done something similar before?

Doubt you could rent a function room in town that late at night but maybe you could book an area in a club?
