Fiesta key won't turn

    Brother has a 2010 Fiesta and went to bring it to the NCT this morning and couldn't turn the key in the ignition.

    Tried spare key and same thing.

    Steering wheel will move slightly to the left but the key won't budge in the ignition barrel at all.

    Anyone any ideas what might be wrong?

    Yes seems to be the steering lock is on but it won't disengage

    Sometimes the wheel lock bolt will get caught in the barrel. Try moving wheel back and forth and at the same time wiggling key about - if you haven;t tried already.

    Yeh have tried that but it won't budge at all, can it get so caught that it's completely stuck?
