Does anyone have a guideline or a link that shows me what exactly to study for my maths leaving cert.
I am in about the theorems, proofs, constructions and all the other bits you have to learn off(induction)

I know some is on the project maths website, but I have no clue which one to study. My teacher has not gone over so I am completely lost and mocks are in 2 weeks, I would be abit more relaxed if I knew I had 25 marks or such(?) in the bag.

Things to Learn (in terms of learning off by heart)...obviously for LCHL Maths you must learn everything as there are no options on the paper.

    Definitions for:
Theorem, proof, axoim, corollary, converse, implies, is equivalent to, if and only if and proof by contradiction.
You must be able to give an example of an axoim, corallary and know one learned proof by contradiction (generally proof that root 2 or root 3 is irrational.

    Theorems 11,12,13

Constructions 1 to 22, Construction of Root 2 and Root 3

    8 Trigonometric Proofs

    Proof by Induction for:
    Sum of Infinite Geometric Series
    De Moivre's Theorem

There are also a good few Statistics definitions you can be asked to reproduce such as the types of sample, the types of data, conditions necessary for a Bernoulli trial etc

Here is a rough idea of the types of LEARNED TYPE things that have been asked in Project Maths so far....

This doesn't include other things (not in the tables) that you should try and learn off such as headings for Differentiation by 1st principles, Rules for Independence in Probability etc
