    Yeah I get 404 too
    Host Not Found

    DNS error (the host name of the page you are looking for does not exist) or Server did not accept the connection.

    Please check that the host name has been spelled correctly.

    I used it yesterday, no problem. Although I had to take a lucky dip for the insurance company, because on the last two machines I taxed both insurance companies were not listed.

    Regarding the people who launch these attacks.

    What exactly do they get out of it? Is it the modern equivalent of vandalism, breaking windows or graffiti on walls?

    They don't gain financially out of it I assume, so is it just to make hassle for others?

    Pretty much. Cant spraypaint a website, but you can send millions of packets through to a website.

    it's just to annoy everyone else, chances are its some kids doing it with their "ultra elite H4CK£R software"
