Hi hoping someone can advise. We just bought our first decent car and Its got a nice leather interior. We have 2 car seats in the rear and after only one or 2 days you can see markings / indentations on the leather caused by the heavy seats. I google the above title and found loads of these seat protectors on Amazon and other international sites

Unfortunately I don't see any on any Irish online baby retail outlets so I'm a little worried are these safe? Does anyone use anything like this? Are they approved? Where can you buy them?

    Thanks in advance

That's not going to protect much, there's a big hole for plenty of stuff that children drop to fall through. Buy a tarpaulin and put some thick towels or blankets underneath, might not look pretty but will save your seats from the child seats and whatever the occupants decide to throw/drop.

    Don't do this.
A blanket won't provide any grip against leather, if your kids are in non isofix seats you don't want to create a situation where the seat can slide forward in an accident, especially if they are in booster type seats.

I used something similar to what OP linked to on amazon (but it clips on to the isofix anchor to prevent slippage), protects the seat from indents based on the child seat but not spills and food obviously.
