mouse not working after update

ok. so not literally. but my ASUS Smart Gesture is there, but not active or working and according to windows the program does not exist but according to the ASUS Install utility it is already installed. so where the hell did my gestures go. I can't go back to Windows 8.1 because it has been a while and that option is gone.…

I can't go back to Windows 8.1 because it has been a while and that option is gone. I want my mouse back because it now takes a hell of a lot longer to edit things without my scrolling gestures. I should have just purchassed a Mac and not have this scrolling problem. and no problem with every single other gesture gone from my PC. How can i get it back and how can i return to Windows 8.1 without loosing anything.

It sounds like the touchpad driver isn't installed correctly, even though the ASUS Install Utility claims that it is. Can you download it from the Asus website directly?
