    Evening all,

Need to pick up 3 of the Bergeon 6767-F springbar tools. I can get them from watchobsession for £22.95 each which seems a bit steep, anyone know of anywhere I can order at a better price? I have a parcel motel account if that helps with UK only deliveries.

    TIA

    Sparrowcar

Less than 10 quid from the UK seller? 280 sold? Are they real I wonder?

If you're concerned about provenance then Cousins have them for £7.85 which works out about £9.42 once you add VAT. You can then order some spare pin ends as well as I always end up mangling them. Obviously you've got to go through the palaver of registering as a "business" account holder but it's usually worth it in the end.

Many thanks all. I ordered from watch-tools.de in the dead of the night last night. It comes with a 1mm & 3mm for €22 so happy with that.

Think I mentioned these lads before, here in Dublin; Dix Equipment on Aston Quay
They do Bergeon stuff including the spare forks etc, plus lots of other interesting watch tools and bits that people here might be interested in. Mods, hope its ok to include a link?

Can you visit these guys shop or are they delivery only? Have you heard reports of good quality? I bought a repair kit on amazon and its mainly breaking and bending after 3 days, obv need to pay the money for half decent tools

If it's Bergeon kit that you're buying then i don't think you'll have an issue. I'm not aware that Bergeon tools are faked but I suppose that one should never say never. In my experience you always end up regretting buying cheap tools and that's not just a horological matter (says he who has just had to chuck out a large carpentry clamp because, after only negligible use, it is now just scrap metal).

Thanks, yeah I didnt buy a Bergeon kit, got one of those generic kits on amazon, i'd recommend all to stay away from them
