Hi Folks, can I get some advice on a gun barrel metal heating system.
The pipes have been under water and I believe that means they have to be replaced as they will corrode over time.
    Is this correct?

Yes they will rot and should be replaced at the first opportunity

    Thanks for your reply
Is it possible to just change the ground floor or would the cause connection or compatibility issues with old system still upstairs?

If the GB pipes were under water for just a few days of flooding, there should not be a problem.

Are they Galvanised GB pipe or just plain black GB pipe. I wouldn't be worrying just because they were under Water for a few Days or even Weeks.
GB tends to corrode and rot from the inside out. If you system was ok before the flooding then I wouldn't worry in the short term.
But for improved efficiency you should consider changing it to Copper or even Pex where usable. You could do a Floor at a time.
